The following booklets relate to the New General Scheme. If you would like copies of any of the booklets please contact the Scheme Administrator on Free Phone 0800 654 731.

The booklets are intended as a guide only and while every effort is made to ensure the booklets are accurate and kept up to date before making any decisions regarding your GSF you should contact the Scheme Administrator.

Booklets on the New General Scheme and the Police Scheme are published on this website and are available for download. If you require information on any other GSF Schemes please contact the Scheme Administrator.

The Scheme Administrator maintains the GSF member records. If you wish to make changes to your personal details or bank account you should complete a Change in Personal Details Form. You may send your completed Change in Personal Details Form to GSF either:

- by post to Datacom, GSF Schemes Administration, P O Box 3614, Wellington 6140, or

- as a signed scanned email attachment to gsf@datacom.co.nz.

GSF Booklets - New General Scheme
- (GS01) Rejoin Form 208 KB
  This form must be completed when a contributor wishes to recommence or continue contributing to GSF on joining a new employer.

  This booklet provides information on retirement options for contributors of the New General Scheme.

  This booklet outlines how your superannuation contributions may be used as security for a loan obtained from another person or organisation.

  If you contribute to the New General Scheme and have been granted leave without pay by your employer, you may continue contributing to the GSF. It is important that you read this booklet and notify the Schemes Administrator of the period of leave as soon as your employer has approved it and before you take the leave.

- (GS21) Election to Contribute at a Previous Salary Rate Following a Reduction in Superable Salary 1.89 MB
  If you contribute to the New General Scheme and have a reduction in salary rate for any reason except misconduct, you may elect to contribute at the previous higher salary rate.

  This booklet provides information on the purchase by contributors to the New General Scheme of prior or interrupted Government service under the Government Superannuation Fund Act 1956 and its associated policies.
- (GS96) Option to Cease Contributing to GSF and Elect a Deferred Pension 1.86 MB
  If you are contributing to the New General Scheme you can choose to stop contributing to GSF, leave your contributions in GSF or elect to receive a deferred pension. To elect this option, contributors must be accepted for membership of another registered superannuation scheme that is subsidised for the benefit of the contributor.
