  • Anne Blackburn Chair

    Appointed as a Board member 1 July 2018, Ms Blackburn has a background in banking, governance and strategic advice and is currently a director of TSB Bank, Fidelity Life Limited, Fisher Funds Management Limited, Warren and Mahoney Limited and Annuitas Management Limited. Ms Blackburn is Chair Designate of Resolution Life NZ Limited. Ms Blackburn is also a member of the Treasury Commercial Operations Advisory Board.

    Appointed as a Board member 1 November 2012 and as Deputy Chairman 1 September 2017, Ms van Gaalen is currently Managing Director of Carglass (NZ) Limited (t/a Smith & Smith, and associated companies) and a director of Annuitas Management Limited. She has previously held various executive roles including Director of Strategy and Business Performance for the BNZ.

    Appointed as a Board member 1 July 2014. Ms Cave is a director of Delegat Group Limited, The Foodpath NZ Limited and Methven Limited. Ms Cave was formerly a partner of the law firm Simpson Grierson specialising in capital markets transactions.
  • Murray Brown

    Appointed as a Board member 1 July 2018. Mr Brown is also on the Board of Yachting New Zealand and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. He previously held senior management positions at Fisher Funds Management and First NZ Capital.
  • Alison O'Connell

    Appointed as a Board member 1 May 2017, Dr O'Connell is also on the Boards of the Earthquake Commission, the Christchurch Art Gallery Foundation and Resolution Life NZ Limited, is a Governor of the UK Pensions Policy Institute and an external advisor on retirement income policy to the Office of the Retirement Commissioner.

    Dr O'Connell is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK and the New Zealand Society of Actuaries and formerly held executive roles at the Pensions Policy Institute, Swiss Re and McKinsey.
