Overview
The purpose of this policy is to outline the framework for managing procurement activities with GSFA, and its objective is to ensure that procurement activities are managed effectively and in compliance with governance and legislative requirements. This policy covers the use of third-party suppliers (e.g. schemes administration) and the appointment of advisers for specialist services such as (but not limited to) tax, audit, investment operations, operational due diligence, investment, actuarial, information technology or legal.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment’s “Government Procurement Rules – Responsible expenditure of public funds” (5th Edition, 2025) are the Government’s standards of good practice for government procurement.
