Special Message for Education Sector Members
As members will be aware, issues have arisen following the implementation of the new Education payroll system, known as Novopay. Some issues are not yet fully resolved.
We appreciate this is a difficult time for members. We are working with the Ministry of Education and their payroll provider to resolve all issues which affect GSF and will seek to minimise the impact on members where possible.
In the short term, we recommend you continue to keep any pay slips you receive from Novopay as we may request copies of these payslips to validate salary information and contribution deductions.
If you intend to retire in the next 2-3 months, we recommend you get in touch with the GSF scheme administrator, Datacom, as early as possible so we can work with you and the Ministry’s payroll provider to ensure your entitlements are paid in a timely manner.
If you have any questions regarding your GSF contributions or entitlements, please contact Datacom on 470 6348 or 0800 654 731 if calling outside the Wellington area or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
