Annual Reports for the Authority and the Fund

The Annual Reports of the Authority include a Chairman’s report, Statement of Service Performance Against Targets set out in the Statement of Intent and financial statements for the year ended 30 June. The Annual Reports of the Fund include a report by the Authority, investment and membership commentary and the financial statements for the year ended 30 June.

Actuarial Valuations

The Government Actuary prepares a report on the actuarial valuation of the Fund every year. The actuarial valuation calculates the net present value of the Fund’s commitments to pay future entitlements. The ‘discount rate’ used in the calculation can have a significant impact on the valuation of the liabilities at any one time.
